Olafur Eliasson created in 2004, a steel sculpture "Umschreibung" in the office building of the KPMG Dt. Treuhandgesellschaft AG, Munich. He received for it "mfi price art in the construction" which is endowed with 50,000 euros, and counts to the biggest European art awards. He distinguishes prominent art projects and appreciates the successful desegregation of art and building.
The sculpture "Umschreibung" of Olafur Eliasson is a 9-metre-high passable double spiral from steel in the input court of the KPMG office building. It is developed from the blend of Doppelhelix and ball surface. On a 30-cm-wide round pipe 80-cm-wide stairway steps on which one goes up to an apex and turning point are right. The banisters follow the double spiral and accent them.

Olafur Eliasson schuf 2004, eine Stahl-Skulptur "Umschreibung" am Bürogebäude der KPMG Dt. Treuhandgesellschaft AG, München. Er erhielt dafür den "mfi Preis Kunst am Bau", der mit 50.000 Euro dotiert ist, und zu den größten europäischen Kunstpreisen zählt. Er zeichnet herausragende Kunstprojekte aus und würdigt die gelungene Zusammenführung von Kunst und Bauwerk.
Die Skulptur "Umschreibung" von Olafur Eliasson ist eine 9 Meter hohe begehbare Doppelspirale aus Stahl im Eingangshof des KPMG-Bürogebäudes. Sie ist aus dem Verschnitt von Doppelhelix und Kugeloberfläche entwickelt. Auf einem 30 cm breiten Rundrohr sind 80 cm breite Treppenstufen angebracht, auf denen man zu einem Scheitel- und Wendepunkt hinaufsteigt. Die Treppengeländer folgen der Doppelspirale und akzentuieren sie.
