    The narrow streets in the center of Prague, show the most beautiful, historic attractions. Thus it makes sense to visit
    this best of all on foot. Charles Street (Karlova) is a narrow alley that runs from the small ring to the Charles Bridge.
    The foundations of the buildings go back till Romanesque time, and allow to discover behind baroque reshaped facades,
    Gothic courts and Romanesque basements. The lane was part of the Royal Route, the former royal palace next to the
    Powder Tower, up to the castle. Today dominate mainly shops and restaurants of the tourist main route with numerous
    remarkable buildings.

    In the house No. 4, worked from 1607-1612, which astronomer Johannes Kepler. In the house No. 18 was at the beginning
    of the 18th century the first Coffee bar of Prague.In the Karlova discovers one, which for Prague typical black light theatres,
    in which the artists are in black dressed and with lights and fluorescent articles partly impressive, partly uncanny
    representations would drive. Right next to the black theater is a puppet theater and the Klementinum, once a Jesuit college.

    ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
    Die engen Gassen im Zentrum von Prag, zeigen die schönsten, historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten. So bietet es sich an, diese
    am besten zu Fuß zu besichtigen. Die Karlsgasse (Karlova) ist ein enges Gässchen, das sich vom Kleinen Ring bis zur Karlsbrücke
    hinzieht. Die Fundamente der Gebäude reichen bis in romanische Zeit zurück, und lassen hinter barock umgestalteten Fassaden,
    gotische Höfe und romanische Untergeschosse entdecken. Die Gasse war Teil des Krönungsweges, vom ehemaligen Königspalast
    neben dem Pulverturm, bis hinauf zur Burg. Heute beherrschen vorwiegend Läden und Restaurants die touristischen Hauptstrecke
    mit zahlreichen sehenswerten Gebäuden.

    Im Haus Nr. 4 arbeitete von 1607-1612 der Astronom Johannes Kepler, im Haus Nr. 18 befand sich Anfang des 18. Jh. die erste
    Kaffeesiederei Prags. In der Karlova entdeckt man, das das für Prag typische Schwarzlichttheater, in denen die Künstler in
    schwarz gekleidet sind und mit Lichtern und fluoreszierenden Gegenständen teils effektvolle, teils unheimliche Darstellungen
    aufführen. Gleich neben dem Schwarzlichttheater befindet sich ein Marionettentheater und das Klementinum, einst ein Kolleg der Jesuiten.
