    We know it, unfortunately, everybody:
    Especially in centers of cities, and in the underground, trams and buses, always where many groups of people meet,
    Pickpocketing is the number of very high! Some cities, including Prague, however, employ the "mounted police".
    The policemen have quite impressive view from the saddle, which means that her for example pickpockets, who try
    humans to rob, much rather recognize can. 2010 "Mounted police" was used for the first time on the old town square!
    I find them in theirs Appearance very smartly! You can provide so faster tourists and citizens of Prague with any advice
    or information to and help immediately in the event of difficulties!

    Wir wissen es leider alle:
    Besonders in Zentren von Metropolen, sowie in U-Bahn, Straßenbahnen und Bussen, immer dort, wo viele Menschengruppen aufeinander treffen,
    ist die Taschendiebstahlzahl sehr hoch! Einige Großstädte, unter anderem auch Prag, setzen dagegen die "Berittene Polizei" ein.
    Die Polizisten haben eine recht imposanten Blick aus dem Sattel, was bedeutet, dass sie zum Beispiel Taschendiebe, die versuchen, Menschen
    zu berauben, viel eher erkennen können. 2010 wurde die "Berittene Polizei" erstmalig auf dem Altstädter Ring eingesetzt! Ich finde sie in ihrer
    Erscheinung sehr fesch! Sie können so, die Touristen und Bürger von Prag schneller mit Ratschlägen oder Informationen versorgen,
    und im Falle von Schwierigkeiten sofort helfen!

    Die Vorteile der Verwendung von Pferden als Stadtpolizei ist sehr deutlich. Sie kommen sogar an Orte, die durch ein Auto, Motorrad oder Fahrrad,
    extrem schwierig zu erreichen sind. Hoffen wir alle. dass dadurch die Taschendiebe schlechtere Karten haben. :-)

Lovely animals. I wish we had mounted police to keep control of some of our low-life. We came across mounted police in quite a few European cities and they certainly do foster confidence. Did I say, another fine photo.

Yes, it is not so widespread that the Mounted Police is used!
I think it is also a cost issue, yes? But I think that presence really helps!
