In the small village of Glenfinnan in the Scottish Highlands, about 500 meters from the famous Glenfinnan Monument,
located on a small hill, is the Catholic Church of St. Mary & St. Finnan. With stunning views over Loch Shiel, the church
offers a beautiful rose in the east gable This church is likely to occur especially the Highlander series fans very well known
because it 'to the roots Homeland / Back' plays a role in the sequence. A special feature of the Church is the missing
Bell Tower. The Bell is attached near the Church on the grounds under a small canopy.


In dem kleines Dorf Glenfinnan, in den schottischen Highlands, etwa 500 m vom  berühmten Glenfinnan Monument
entfernt, auf einem kleinen Hügel gelegen, befindet sich die St. Finnans Kirche. Mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht über
Loch Shiel, bietet die Kirche eine schöne Rosette im Ostgiebel Diese Kirche dürfte vor allem den Highlander-Serien-Fans
sehr bekannt vorkommen, da sie in der Folge 'Homeland/Zurück zu den Wurzeln' eine Rolle spielt.
Ein besonderes Merkmal der Kirche ist der fehlende Glockenturm. Die Glocke ist unweit der Kirche auf dem Außengelände
unter einer kleinen Überdachung angebracht.
