The St. Marien's church Berlin is at the foot of the television tower in the Berlin district middle. It is one of the oldest still sacred used churches of Berlin, one of originally six medieval church buildings in the historical city centre of Berlin, in the formerly close farmed Marien's quarter.
In 1292 the church was mentioned for the first time in a document as a parish church Berlin Neustadt in the new market – beside the old-urban Nikolaikirche. The foundation walls of the Marien's church were built in the 13th century from deposits and erratic blocks about whom a hall church from radiant red bricks was established in the style of the brick Gothic of the Brandenburg March. The tower exists of Rüdersdorfer mussel lime.

Die St.-Marien-Kirche Berlin befindet sich am Fuße des Fernsehturmes im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte. Sie ist eine der ältesten noch sakral genutzten Kirchen Berlins, eines von ursprünglich sechs mittelalterlichen Kirchengebäuden im historischen Stadtkern Berlins, im ehemals dicht bebauten Marienviertel.
1292 wurde die Kirche erstmals urkundlich als Pfarrkirche der Berliner Neustadt am Neuen Markt erwähnt – neben der altstädtischen Nikolaikirche. Erbaut wurden die Grundmauern der Marienkirche im 13. Jahrhundert aus Geschieben und Findlingen, über denen eine Hallenkirche aus leuchtend roten Ziegeln im Stil der märkischen Backsteingotik errichtet wurde. Der Turm besteht aus Rüdersdorfer Muschelkalk.
